YWAM Santiago
To see the reality and relevance of Christianity transform lives and impact communities
as we disciple and equip people for Life, for Leadership and for Missions
We are located in Santiago de los Caballeros, the second largest city in the Dominican Republic, with a population of over a million people. We have a YWAM house in the city that we use for training, camps, and for housing teams & volunteers.
As YWAM Santiago we work mainly with training and formation. With ministry experience in about fifty countries, we offer workshops, retreats, camps and courses with a focus on the development of children, youth, adults and families for life, for leadership and for missions.

NIKOland is the name of our adventure property that is located in the Palo Alto community, one hour from Santiago in the Northern mountain range. It is a very rustic and refreshing place at almost 1000 m above sea level.
Here we run camps, host retreats and organize training events. Aside from thick brush we have a large building where meetings can be held, a sleeping cabin, a latrine, some fire pits and a beautiful view of the city of Santiago. From the road by Nikoland you can also see the north coast.

YWAM Santiago is part of a missions movement much larger than our local expression! Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is an international movement of Christians of different denominations dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. From different backgrounds and working in a wide variety of settings, our common passion is simply to know God and make Him known. We currently operate in more than 1,000 locations in over 150 countries with some 18,000 workers. Our various ministries fall into three main categories: evangelism, training and mercy ministry.
